PANCHKULA : The Rainbow with 800 Colours The Annual Project Day of Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula attracted big crowd this year. The enthusiastic participation by more than 1000 students and pleasant Weather proved to be the recipe of success. Almost 800 projects are on the show. The theme of the event was ‘Voyage to Holistic Learning’. It aimed at showing various dimensions of CCE ( Comprehensive Continuous Evaluation). Students of classes III to X participated in the event.
Students prepared 3d models, PowerPoint presentations, working models and Charts etc. The event was full of dynamic and power packed performances of Bhavanites. Students not only explained their models through presentations but also presented role plays and live performances. Simple electric motor, Wind energy converted in electric energy, fire alarm, electromagnet, Wood-craft, Paper Mache, Hospitality, Jhatpat snacks, Lamps, Pie chart, kaleidoscope, Medical Mathematics, quiz board, motor boat, electronic car, eco-tree , eco-friendly fridge , herbal garden, theatre, Literary events, Scholastic and Co- Scholastic, Yoga, Aerobics, Martial arts, youth empowerment, traditional paintings of India, interior decoration, robotics, Sanskrit declamation, recording room etc. were some of the major attractions.
The event was inaugurated by the early bird means the parent who visited the school first. Sh. Kulwant Singh (Retd.IAS) Ex Chief Secretary ,Haryana along with distinguished members of management was there to witness the dexterity of the students. The management appreciated the whole hearted efforts of the students. Despite heavy rains more than 1500 parents visited the school. It seemed that rain could not dampen the moral of the visitors. Parents were delighted to see the agility of the students. School Head boy Saksham mentioned that the project covers everything from roots to robotics. Sr. Principal Dr. (Smt.) Shashi Banerjee mentioned that this rainbow of Talent has 800 colours and exhibits versatile nature of Bhavanites. It was a huge success.
