PANCHKULA : The 69th Independence Day was celebrated at Bhavan Vidyalaya sector 15 Pkl with traditional gaiety and fervour. The Principal Dr. Smt. Shashi Banerjee unfurled the national flag followed by the National Anthem.
The students presented a colourful cultural programme and sang songs which electrified the atmosphere with patriotism. The students and teachers paid homage to the countless freedom fighters and paid tribute to the sacrifices made by them. The student of Chetna(group of underprivileged students also celebrated the day with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The Principal Dr. Smt. Shashi Banerjee emphasized to put in sincere efforts in educating the present and future generation about the freedom struggle. On this day we as responsible citizens of India must pledge to work for the progress and development of our country .
