CHANDIGARH : A Case FIR No. 14 date 9.02.2017, U/S 307, 34 IPC added 302 IPC has been registered in Police Station Sector-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Adamya Singh S/o Sh. Kameshwar Singh Rathore R/o Village Kalontha, P.S. Jubbal, Distt. Shimla (HP) against Balraj Singh Randhawa S/o Manjeet Singh Randhawa R/o # 55, Akal Ashram Colony, Sector-77, Sohana, Mohali (PB) and Harmehtab Singh S/o Gureshwarpreet R/o back side Hunter Zone, Radewala Farm, Landra, Mohali(PB).
Today with the sincere efforts of Chandigarh Police, accused Harmehtab Singh @ Freed S/o Sh. Gureshwarpreet Singh Village Rarawala, PO Ghudani Kalan, Tehsil Payal, Distt. Ludhiana, Punjab has been arrested from Haridwar, Uttrakhand. Today, the accused is being produced before Illaqa Magistrate for police remand.
Sincere efforts are being made to nab the remaining accused Balraj Singh Randhawa above noted and 27 raiding parties have been sent to different places to raid all the possible hideouts of the culprit in the tri-city as well as outside the tri-city. The investigation of this case is being conducted on merits under the close supervision of senior officers. Police teams are working round the clock to nab the culprits.
